The Lord placed in Pastor Brooks' heart to start a ministry that would carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by spreading the truth of Jesus... A ministry in which only the truth would be preached and taught. That truth is the Word of God. John 8:32 states, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". Jesus continued speaking of the truth in John 14:6 when He says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me". Once people know the truth and have been made free from the destruction and the penalty of sin, they will be free to live a righteous life before a holy and righteous God, for God says, "Be holy, for I am holy"(I Peter 1:16 ).
As God's people are walking uprightly, they will be able to share the love of God that has been poured into their hearts through the Holy Spirit of God (Romans 5:5). To love God and to love others is the greatest of all commandments, for God is love and love is God. When a lawyer asked Jesus which is the greatest commandment, Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 22:35 -40).
The purpose of this ministry is being carried out by the leading and power of the Holy Spirit of God for the advancement of the kingdom of God. It consists of teaching and preaching the Word of God inside and outside of the church and reaching the masses through radio, television, the internet, outreach ministry and evangelism. The ministry will promote Christian living for Christ's disciples for equipping the saints for the work of the ministry so they may reach out to others and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. For Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20,"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
"I will bring them back, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness" Zechariah 8:8.
"And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God" Philippians 1:9-11.
